PID: How do I make a disclosure?

Financial waste and mismanagement

As an integrity agency, we are the proper authority to receive disclosures about financial waste and mismanagement in the public sector.

You can submit this type of disclosure via our website, by emailing referrals [at] qao [dot] qld [dot] gov [dot] au (referrals [at] qao [dot] qld [dot] gov [dot] au), or by writing to the Manager—Specialist Audit Services, PO Box 15396, City East 4002.

Complaints about QAO conduct

We are also the proper authority to receive disclosures about the conduct of our workforce—our staff and contractors.

You can submit this type of disclosure via our website, by emailing qao [at] qao [dot] qld [dot] gov [dot] au (qao [at] qao [dot] qld [dot] gov [dot] au), or by writing to the Public Interest Disclosure Coordinator, PO Box 15396, City East 4002.

Internal QAO disclosures

We also receive internal disclosures from our staff about matters related to QAO. We encourage the use of our internal complaints process before making a public interest disclosure, but this option is available to our staff at any time. If you are a QAO staff member, then you can submit this type of disclosure by contacting the Executive Officer.
