Online services can reduce transaction time and reduce the cost of delivering services by moving customers to lower-cost channels. This audit examined the use of online services by the public sector and whether it is optimising information technology for these services. Various areas of the sector were examined to determine the current level of services each offered online.


The report examines service delivery options, technology capability, security and cost-effectiveness of online services.
