Queensland Health has made substantial progress in a relatively short period of time to address the recommendations from the initial reports. The department has changed their planning processes and introduced new governance arrangements, mandatory requirements and supporting material.

The objective of this follow up audit was to assess the progress made by Queensland Health in implementing these recommendations. Specifically the audit assessed the quality, appropriateness and maturity of implementation, including appropriate communication strategies and continuing support at the corporate level.
