In 2011 the Queensland Audit Office conducted a performance management systems audit on Arts Queensland, the Queensland Museum, the Queensland Art Gallery and the State Library of Queensland. The audit examined whether the systems and processes in place to acquire and provide access to their collections were efficient, effective and economical.

This audit follows up on the progress and effectiveness of the agencies in implementing the recommendations of Report to Parliament No. 9 for 2011.
