The financial statements for the state of Queensland are required to be audited each year, and an independent audit opinion expressed thereon.

Report No 7: 2012-13, is the second of our reports to be presented to Parliament in 2013, and number seven for the financial year. It has been prepared to provide further information on the results of the audit beyond the independent audit opinion.

It contains insights into the Total State Sector's and General Government Sector's financial performance in 2011-12.
