This is the first of four reports to be presented to Parliament this financial year dealing with the results of the 2011-12 financial statement audits of state government departments, statutory bodies and government owned corporations and the entities they control.

It discusses the nature and type of audit opinions issued, the timeliness of the financial statements, the quality of financial reporting processes, significant transactions and events, and future reporting risks by each Ministerial portfolio.
